Joinery Site Manager Opportunity

Horbury Joinery are a leading Joinery Sub-Contractor and are currently looking for a Site Manager to work predominantly in the Midlands on packages valued at £500k - £1m.

Job Title: Joinery Site Manager – Operation Team

Location: Site based working predominantly within the Midlands.

The Role:

Reporting to Project Contracts Manager

As a Joinery Manager, you will be responsible for:

  •          Manage and monitor works on site
  •          Provide regular reporting against senior management deliverables
  •          Review and analyse quality QA reporting
  •          Control labour and meet financial build targets
  •          Register progress reporting and summarise with management team
  •          Liaise with Contract Management and assist in operative resource where required
  •          Sit in senior management meetings providing a summary of data within any given period together with taking and preparing minutes and issuing action lists
  •          Control of Health and Safety on site


The Person:

  •          Qualifications required: Managers CSCS, SMSTS or similar and First Aid. PASMA would be an advantage but not essential
  •          Ideally from a joinery background
  •          Self-motivated, disciplined and trustworthy
  •          Experience of working within organisations where processes and procedures are a fundamental part of day to day operations
  •          Pro-active and driven by targets
  •          Have an eye for detail
