5 Cheapside was an existing office building in disrepair, but with its excellent location next to St Paul's Cathedral it was bought by the property arm of Alan Sugar's Amsprop, who engaged ISG to undertake a full refurbishment.

During the works the full facade of the buiding was removed and replaced with a full glazed facade and a full Cat A fit out was conducted of all areas.

Horbury Joinery Ltd undertook the following works:

  • Spray finished timber door sets to all areas.
  • Flush fitting metal riser doors to all levels.
  • Full ironmongery package.
  • Stainless steel skirtings to all office and public areas.
  • Full fit out of toilet areas to include: forming IPS boxings, with removable mirrors and concealed toilet dispensers.
  • Stainless steel and back painted glass wall to ground floor reception lift lobby.
  • Bespoke fitting leather bench seat to reception area.
  • Bespoke reception desk with stainless steel and corian finishes.
  • Stainless steel channel finishes to reception areas.
  • Muraspec wall finishes to the lift lobby walls at all levels.
