One Angel Square is a high-sustainable office building in Manchester, England. Construction work began in 2010 and was completed in February 2013.

The landmark building serves as the Head Office of the Co-operative Group. Standing 72.5 metres tall, the building forms the centerpiece of the new £800 million NOMA development in the northern quarter of Manchester City Centre. The building cost £105 million to construct. One Angel Square is one of the most sustainable large buildings in Europe and is built to a BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ rating. It is powered by a biodiesel cogeneration plant using rapeseed oil to provide electricity and heat. The scheme surpassed its pan-European sustainability aims and achieved a world-record BREEAM score of 95.32%.

Horbury Group carried out all partitions, linings and plastering to the office areas, stair and lift cores. Specialist acoustic linings were also installed to the 14 storey atrium together with timber cappings and balustrades. The atrium is the principle feature of the completed project, with all visible features being completed by Horbury. As too were the lower three floors, which comprised of an extensive office fit out.
